Warranty Watch Information
Your TOMATO watch is covered by S. Bacher & Company (Pty) Ltd for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase, under the terms and conditions outlined below. This warranty covers material and manufacturing defects present at the time of purchase.
The warranty is only valid if:
- The warranty certificate is dated, fully and correctly completed, and
- Proof of purchase (receipt or sales invoice) is presented along with the warranty certificate.

What the Warranty Covers
During the warranty period, and upon presentation of a valid warranty certificate and proof of purchase, you are entitled to:
- Repair of any manufacturing or material defect.
- Replacement of the watch (at the sole discretion of S. Bacher & Company (Pty) Ltd) if the defect cannot be repaired.
- If the original model is no longer available, a TOMATO watch of similar style and/or price will be provided.
What is Not Covered
This manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:
- Battery Life – Replacement of depleted batteries.
- Normal Wear and Tear – Scratches on the crystal, fading or discoloration of straps and bracelets, peeling of plating, or other cosmetic changes from regular use.
- Damage from Misuse or Neglect – Including knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture damage (if not water-resistant), and failure to follow care instructions.
- Damage from Unauthorised Repairs or Alterations – Any work done by a non-authorised service centre.
- Water Damage – If the watch is not specifically water-resistant or if seals have not been maintained.
- Loss or Theft – The warranty does not cover lost or stolen watches.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Locate your warranty certificate and proof of purchase.
- Contact the official TOMATO dealer where you purchased the watch, or reach out to S. Bacher & Company (Pty) Ltd customer service.
- Provide details of the defect along with photos if possible.
- Deliver or ship the watch, securely packaged, to the designated service centre.
Conditions That Void the Warranty
Your warranty will become void if:
- The warranty certificate is missing, incomplete, altered, or not stamped by an authorised dealer.
- Damage has occurred due to misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions.
Legal Limitations
All applicable implied warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty.
S. Bacher & Company (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our Commitment
S. Bacher & Company (Pty) Ltd’s obligation is strictly limited to repair or replacement as stated in this warranty.
